Motion Analysis of Image Sequences Using Connected Operators

چکیده
This paper deals with a class of morphological operators called connected operators These operators interact with the signal by merging at zones As a result they do not create any new contours and are very attractive for ltering tasks where the contour information has to be preserved This paper focuses on a class of operators dealing with motion information They remove from the original sequence the components that do not undergo a speci c motion They have a large number of applications including image sequence analysis with motion multiresolution decomposition and motion estimation

Computation Optical Flow Using Pipeline Architecture
Accurate estimation of motion from time-varying imagery has been a popular problem in vision studies, This information can be used in segmentation, 3D motion and shape recovery, target tracking, and other problems in scene analysis and interpretation. We have presented a dynamic image model for estimating image motion from image sequences, and have shown how the solution can be obtained from a ...
متن کاملAutomatic target detection and tracking in forward-looking infrared image sequences using morphological connected operators
We propose a method for automatic target detection and tracking in forward-looking infrared (FLIR) image sequences. We use morphological connected operators to extract and track targets of interest and remove undesirable clutter. The design of these operators is based on general size, connectivity and motion criteria, using spatial intraframe and temporal interframe information. In a first step...

vehicle detection and classification of vehicles play an important role in decision making for the purpose of traffic control and management.this paper presents novel approach of automating detecting and counting vehicles for traffic monitoring through the usage of background subtraction and morphological operators. We present adaptive background subtraction that is compatible with weather and ...
متن کاملAnalysis and Synthesis of Facial Expressions by Feature-Points Tracking and Deformable Model
Face expression recognition is useful for designing new interactive devices offering the possibility of new ways for human to interact with computer systems. In this paper we develop a facial expressions analysis and synthesis system. The analysis part of the system is based on the facial features extracted from facial feature points (FFP) in frontal image sequences. Selected facial feature poi...
متن کاملConnected Vibrations Method for Non-rigid Motion Tracking
This paper introduces a new algorithm for tracking nonrigid motion in image sequences. Non-rigid motions are modeled as the deformations of connected 2D membrane patches. Local smoothness constraints for each patch are the low-frequency vibration modes obtained from modal analysis. Hinges are imposed between patches to maintain the global topological structure. The resulted over-constrained lin...
